salesforce connection problem: valid certificati path not fo

we have Single CMC for both BOBJ and DS. We are using SFDC adapter and connected to salesforce. datastore is connected good but while trying to import metadata or browse metadata or run a job, we are getting the following error.

There was a communication error when talking to Salesforce.com: Connection has been shutdown: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target

does any know what certification is it looking for and what are missing?

Hello,

We are also facing same problem from last 1 week. Heard that Salesforce has changed their security certificate from SHA-1 to SHA-256 Algorthim.

Would we need to do something from BO side.?

I could login to Prod Salesforce and integrate data without issues , QA only having certificate issues.
