Run Now

Hello All,

We have a report scheduled for daily at 7:00 AM. Tomorrow is our maintenance and looks like report will failed.

My question is if I to have to run the report after the maintenance.

Should I need to right click on the recurrence and click RUN NOW to send the report to the users.

You could… But not that the instance will be owned by you and not the person who originally scheduled it (assuming that wasn’t you). If it’s important who owns the instance, you can use the Schedule For function to run it as another user.

Also note that if the schedule depends on Events, that hitting Run Now will retain that dependency – that is, the report won’t run until the next time the event fires after you hit Run Now.

I am the one who scheduled the report using the info view. We don’t have any Event for this report and no dependencies.

So, Can I Run it for Now with the scheduled report instance?

From the next day it will run automatically at 7 :00AM?

Yes - hitting Run Now will not interrupt any existing recurring schedules.
