.rpt not found on File Repository Server

We are scheduling crystal reports and sometimes get the error message

“File
~crw{4f91d6cd-f207-40fe-a1fb-af3662380e54}-guid[aquyivybicthjxkwooxnom4].rpt not found on File Repository Server.”

Some times it is working without any problems. Any ideas?

Hi,

Can somebody please help me with below issue.
i have installated BO XI3.1 on windows . when i try to to run a report i got an error : file .rpt not found on file repository.

and i did check temporary file directory and file store directory path for input and output file repository where the path for output repository was incorrect where i gave ‘input’ instead of ‘output’.

So i modified and restarted output file repository server and windows too.But still i see the same issue.

Can somebody please help me in fixing this.

Hi Sunny,

We need to try few steps to find out the root cause to this issue.

  1. Are you able to run sample crystal reports, which comes with the installation itself.
  2. Lets create a new .rpt using a CR client tool and export it to BO Enterprise. Now check if it is present in the File reporsitory or not.
  3. If it does, then try running that report and see what happens?
  4. Check under which windows account (Local/Domain) are the BO services (Crystal report server, CR Page Servrer, CR cache server, I/P and O/P servers are running). This windows account must have enough access priviledges to the File repository folder.
    Please try these steps and revert with the outcome so that we may proceed accordingly.

Also elaborate what steps are you following to run the report (when u get the error).

Assuming that you don’t have a clustered environment also there is no horizontal scaling.
