In an analysis application, Can we reuse a single data-source (single BW query) in different Analytic components just by selecting the different columns in different analytic component.
Right now we use three charts and 1 cross-tab in an analytic application which get the data from a same single BW query. But we have called the same BW 4 times as 4 data-sources each with different columns in the corresponding initial data view of the data-sources.
This typically affects the performance as there is a 4 times query call from Design Studio to BW, if we can use the single data-source and use it in 4 different ways with respect to the 4 different column selections, we can have a single data-source and so the performance would be better.
