Is there any way to create a variable in a report that returns the BO ID of that report?
If not, is there any way to create a variable in a report that returns the parent folder of that report?
If not, is there any way to create a variable that indicates whether the report has been run from a person’s inbox or from other business objects folders?
The problem we are facing is:
a) our reports are validated and put into a production environment
b) there are good reasons for users to be able to copy these reports to their inbox
c) in their inbox they can change these reports, which negates the validation. Sometimes they want to do this, and that is fine, but I would like some indicator on the report (e.g, in the page footer) to say that the report is not validated. (Validation information is available in a universe keyed by BO ID).
