I have several different components in which I need the ability to clear any selected values. I can’t figure out how to do it.
I have a chart. Users hover over a bar to insert the data. Users change the filters and the chart data refreshes. Users then must hover over a different bar to reset the selection before they can hover over the original bar again.
I have a list view. Users can click on a list view item to drill down. The list view is rendered invisible through dynamic visibility. When the user drills back up, and the list view becomes visible again, the last selected option is immediately re-selected, re-drilling down again.
I have a very similar issue with a list box. To save real estate, the list box only appears when the user clicks on a button. Then the user makes a selection, and the list box disappears. Certain actions can change the value that the list box controls, but don’t change the actual selected value in the list box. When the list box is opened again, the old selected value is applied again.
All of these are really killing the utility of my dashboard. Any insight would be most appreciated.
