Reports failing only for a particular universe in BCA

Issue: I am using Business Objects 6.5.2 in my project and we have scheduled reports which runs on regular basis.

I have encountered a problem today, the scheduled reports in BCA (Broadcast Agent) failing with the below error. (Reports are running successfully till yesterday).

b Cannot find "XXX’ universe which uses “YYY database” connection(DA0012).
The following data providers has not been successfully refreshed(Query1 with XXX(DMA007[/b])

The following has been confirmed :
· The Universe is available in repository.
· We have verified the connection and the“Sever is responding”.
· Also, there are no changes happened to this universe from since last one year!! :crazy_face:

Note: We are able to execute reports related to other universes in the repository.

Any help regarding this will be highly appreciated.

Hi guys,

I got the solution long ago but couldnt update it. It might be helpful for someone.

The reason behind this was the universe was corrupted. Everytime I tried to “Export” it to the server but that wasnt gettting replicated on the server. ( The new file was not able to replace the universe file on the server) :shock:

What you need to do is log on to the server and delete that file. Then export the universe again. The new universe will get reflected.

Get your server Re-started( If possible). Issue Resolved :+1: :smiley:
