We just upgraded from BusObj512 to 515, using a Master Share setup on an app server. When a user login’s to any of the BusObj applications (Reporter, Designer and Supervisor), the default user name is the last user to logon to the server.
How can the configuration be modified to have the default user name be the last user to use the BusObj application on that specific PC?

– did you try a search on BoB?
It’s been a while since I tried the Master /shared setup.
But, it sounds like your ShData is set up to use what is on the server. You should be able to change it so that it uses the ShData / LocData on each user’s hard drive.

Welcome to BOB Keo, I believe you would need to change the users security setting from shared (bomain.ssi) to local (bomain.lsi) to accomplish this.

Just to add on. Local security files will improve performance also. Otherwise every user is sharing the exact same .ssi file. It can get very large and very slow.
It’s a great option to store that file on each desktop.
