Instead of exporting the data, do a “Save As” and choose the file type you want. This will only “export” the data you see on the screen.

Kirk,
When you download to excel or text you download the whole cube of data. The work around is save the BO doc as txt and then open it in excel.

Ok you BO guru’s out there I have a simple one yet I can’t figure it out. When I run a report that pulls all of my customers it will pull them and then I want to export it to excel. When I do the export it gives me all of the data and not just the data on the report. How do I get around that. When I click on data, view in that box it shows all of the data not just what I queried. Thanks for your help.
