I have a report which has 3 tabs. All the contents of each tab are easiliy fitting in normal 8 X 11 in size paper but when I generate the report in PDF, the size of the pages changes dramatically and the last two tabs grow into very big pages.
I wanted to change the size of the page and keep it same for each tab so I tried to go into Page Layout view but couldn’t figure it out.
Can anyone help? I am sure it is very simple but it is just not easy to find out :?
Does it occur on a number of reports, or just one?
If it’s just one report maybe check the formatting being used,
also any templates applied etc?
The quickest way to check this is to reset the report in the slice and dice panel and apply the default template.
If the page size is then correctly rendered in PDF , the finger of blame points to a formatting option used (possible bug) or maybe a dodgy template… ****** make sure you create a backup of the report before removing the formatting *****
