report filters disappearing on drill up

Hi I’m facing a very silly issue where I add merged dimensions as report filters and the report has drill down enabled.

Basically I have Quarter-Month-Brand-Region-Area etc as the custom hierarchy and my report has Quarter, Meas1, Meas2, Meas3 as the columns so When the user drills on quarter, the columns are Month, MEas1, Meas2, Meas3 and when user drills down on month I have Brand, Meas1, Meas2, Meas3

I also have REPORT filters Quarter,Month,Brand,Region,Area. Currently when I drill down on quarter and then drill back up to the topmost level in the report, the Quarter report filter disappears.

I am not sure if anybody else has ever faced this problem but it is quite annoying. Please can you suggest a solution to this?

Though I never had any report with report filters and drill enabled, but feel that it might be getting removed due to the drill level as quarter.
Drill filters itself behave like filters and so this behaviour

Hi Haider thanks for getting back to me. I can understand what you are trying to say and it makes sense but I have created reports in the past with the same version of BO (XI 3) and had no problem with it. Let me wait and see if anybody else has a say in this.
