Removing decimal places in Dashboards

I am producing a dashboard in Dashboards v 4 in which the a data set comes from BW with 2 decimal places eg. 316.22.

I’ve been told that there is a setting somewhere that you can choose to take the format from excel rather than the default as it comes from the source. Is this true and if so, where will I find the setting.

I want to simply format it to 0 decimal places and want to understand if I can do itin the dashboard or do I have to get the core query changed?

ofcourse you can remove the decimal at the component level.
Hope you are using scorecard component.
Go to Appearance>Text>highlight column name
and change the decimal to 0. please see my screen shot as well.
