Remove previous selections from prompt

Hi,

I have published a report to the repository and it has kept my test values in the prompts. How do I clear the information before I post.

Purge your data providers, you should get an option to also purge your prompts. Alternatively, you can change the prompts in the query panel if they are based on objects (or in the universe if they are pre-defined conditions) to not keep the values.

Thanks, but I don’t have any option to purge my prompts when I purge my data providers. How do I do it from the query panel?

DeskI or WebI?

I’m developing on the desktop(DeskI?) and would like to have the prompts blanks when publishing to web (WebI?).

I’m new to BO and have no resources here, wasn’t sure what you mean by DeskI/WebI…feeling a little dumb!

You only get the prompt to remove prompt values from WebI created reports.

If you are publishing from DeskI to InfoView, you have to purge the data providers from Data->View Data. If you purge the queries, the prompts will be purged as well.
