Hi Gurus - still battling with a secondary node - will not startup.
I have managed to trap the startup exec on my secondary node & it’s complaining about not finding a file in a backup_10_… folder.
This folder is empty whilst the primary node contains an xml file and a number of cfg files ?? Any suggestions - i’ve re-installed numerous times (the last 2 days with a BO rep on site who is just as stumped as i am …)
I have also noticed that the HKEY_CURRENT_USER directory does not contain a businessobjects registration like my primary server ie exists only on the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE directory ??
any comments on the above will be much appreciated …

The repair option seems to have sorted out the registry files
but i cannot use our second server as a primary or secondary node - in both instances i either hit a configuration or a strtup problem that both seem to point to the fact that some files are missing …
This code relates to services running but i have even stopped & started everything manually from Internet Information Services and have tried all combinations of installs - uninstalling & cleaning everything up …
ie it would not startup as a secondary (same cluster name as primary, same port range), so tried it as a primary with a diff cluster name etc
We have Windows 2000 SP3 IIS/ASP on both servers and the primary node has no problems …
