Regarding source based CDC

Hi ,

We are going to implement source based CDC on oracle.

Actually we hjave source then we are moving data to staging area that is on SAP IQ. Then we are moving to DW layer.

If we are implementing CDC , are we going to apply directly on DW layer or on Staging layer?

In the DW layer, we are going to implement SCD type 2 & Type 1 flows.

Can I load from oracle to DW layer directly. If we are going to load to STG then how we are going to handle in the DW?
