"Refresh failed error (80043749)" for scheduled re

Hi,

I am having some trouble with a report that runs in Desk Intelligence XI v12.3.0 but fails with a “Refresh failed error (80043749)” error when scheduled via the CMC (product 12.1.0). I cannot find any fix for this error message.

When I run the report in InfoView I get a SetPrompts failed error. Having looked this error up in this forum, I have altered user rights on the connection, the universe and the report to full control and view on demand. However, the report still fails.

This Is from Business Objects XI 3.1.

Does anybody have any ideas?

If the report won’t run in Infoview but will run in Deski, it sounds like a config issue on the server, which will have a different connection to your desktop (where Deski runs). Step one, if you can, would be to remotely log on to the server and use Deski on there to try and refresh the report.

When scheduling, have you checked to make sure that all the prompts have valid values?

Further analysis showed that this only occurs when the report is refreshed by a regular user. When an administrator refreshed the report not errors occur. What security setting can cause this?

Check if the user has the correct privileges to access the connection. It’s a while since I’ve used that version.
