Recommendations for Data Services over Azure deployment

Hi,

One of our client have recently moved our infrastructure to Azure. There have been a couple of times when the data services job has failed as a result of time outs. I’ve searched SAP for recommendations as to changes we should make on our ETL server for cloud deployment but have been unable to find any.

Are there any recommendations that SAP has prepared for Azure / cloud deployment? Which is do SAP have or plan to publish documentation to make BODS more tolerant of cloud deployment?

What I am looking for is some advice of whether there is anything we can do to configure the ETL server to be more tolerant of cloud infrastructure where there is minimal control over network latency and hence we occasionally get time outs which causes any running jobs to fail.

Any input is highly appreciated.

What issues are you finding. We run SAP DS in Azure with no issues.

It`s just a server in someone elses datacentre afterall!

I am faced the issue with time out. but it has been solved.

Requesting: Do we have any data services reference documents for Azure cloud deployment.

2)where there is minimal control over network latency and hence we occasionally get time outs which causes any running jobs to fail.

Is there any documents/suggestions for second point.
