Dear DI experts,
I am working on BO DI 4.2 version, I am very new to DI.
Wanted to get inputs on capabilities of DI around reading of long data types from oracle.
I am planning to store the response from a web service which is XML representation of some data into a Oracle 11g table in Long data type where we store XML data as is.
This long data need to be read by BODI job and process the same. Does BODI 4.2 has a restriction in terms of reading long data types as it can read only 4K of data each time?
I need to understand whether BODI has an inbuilt capability of reading long data types in chunks of 4k of data and process the entire long data type or we need to build a bespoke solution where we need to chunk up 4k bytes of data and process the entire long data type.
