RAS, Page Server and WebI Report Server don't work...

hi everybody,

i installed BOXIR2 and it was working very well, untill i decided to install CR Developer… i installed CRDev and it was working well also, but i uninstalled it for some reasons then i reinstalled again, after the seconed time the RAS, Page Server and WebI Report Server don’t work, when i checked the Event Viewer, i found these errors:

  • when i am trying to start Page Server i got this error: (Transport error: Unknown error.) and it appears 4 times.

  • when i am trying to start WebI Report Server i got this error: (Transport error: Unknown error.) and it appears 4 times.

  • when i am trying to start RAS i got this error from the CMC: (The operation can’t be completed in 40 seconds, please go back to the server page to verify.)

and from the Event Viewer: (Maximum number of events per audit log file must be greater than 0. Defaulting to 500.) and (Unable to create the Corba OSCA factory and register it on the eBus.)

so any ideas please…?? i will be thankful for any suggestions…

i want to add another note which is: through CMC the three servers don’t work, but through CCM only the RAS doesn’t work and the other two servers are working…

so help please :expressionless: …

As a first step, I’d try deleting all of the servers that aren’t working via the CCM. Next, add the servers via the CCM, start all of them, and make sure you enable them, as well.

After you’ve done all of that, go to the CMC to confirm the servers are enabled and running. Let us know how it goes…

thanks for your reply, but this is what exactly i did before i wrote the topic and without any changes…

but you know what i uninstalled BOXIR2 and reinstalled it again to work well… but i will be soo happy if i know what was the problem.
