As we are above to upgrade BODS 3.2 to BODS 4.0. And we have Rapid marts installed in 3.2 version.
Would like to know once we upgrade BODS 4.0.how we have to migrate bods 3.2 rapid marts to BODS 4.0 Version.
1.Is it possible to replicate the existing rapid mart into BODS 4.0 environment ?
2.or we have new rapid marts 4.0 version available where we can deploy.
If it is new version available than we have to ignore the old rapid marts configurations and move to concentrate on new rapid marts and BODS system newly.
Rapid MArts and BODS Upgrade are two different things.
If Rapid Marts in 3.2 are customized and in execution, we can just upgrade the local repository. If it is a SAP Rapid MArt, you will have to import new files into ECC Application Server and then you are good to go.
I personally did the Repo Upgrades from 6.5 to 14.x hosting Rapid Marts which are customized.
We have SAP BODS 3.2 Rapid marts in our environment.
In this case.How can we upgrade .(Because once we move BODS 3.2 to BODS 4.0 system >SAP BODS 3.2 Rapid marts will not support BODS 4.0 environment) or do we have any methodology to upgrade rapid mart content of BODS 3.2 to BODS 4.0
1.Because BODS 4.0 support BODS 4.0 Rapid marts… as per document
2.if there is any customization in BODS 3.2 Rapid marts how can we do the same change in BODS 4.0 .(Do we have any strategy to use the old configuration/customization done in BODS 3.2 can be implemented in BODS 4.0 environment) Or we have to take new configurations by taking a requirement gathering from the client.
