Rapid Mart: XI 3.2 v. 4.0

Recently purchased Inventory and Purchasing Rapid Marts (XI 3.2 listed in download queue). We are using DS 4.0 and BI 4.0. Target and Repo databases are Oracle10g.

I assume RM 3.2 content will function in 4.0, but are there any differences in the RM content (reports, etc) between 3.2 and 4.0?
Ex: .unv v. .unx, additional reports, etc?

As a quick first response, yes there are. I let the experts respond the details.

Especially Inventory I know got changed for calculating the stock value.

As this is an initial implementation, I think I should install 4.0 directly.

My concern now (follow-up question - not necessarily for Werner), but is it required to have 11g Repo/Target database, or can I use the existing 10g version?
