R3.1 Deski - tool for FHSQL connection query/change

Hi folks,

we have a situation that for several hundreds of FHSQL reports there was used a wrong connection (username/pass@db)

do you know any tool for a bulk reports change of the specific connection to another? or just to list them…?

(not a manual import, change and export)

Hi Tomas,

This can be a real challenge. DeskI in XI 3.1 has only VBA SDK and as far as I remember, changing connections in DeskI reports was not exposed in VBA. I may be wrong so you’d better check that.

maybe it could be the occasion to convert these reports in webi and the HF SQL to univers using the conversion wizard
