Question about Data Services Metadata Integrator

Hello,

I hope someone can answer some basic questions I have.

Q1. Does the Metadata Integrator show “impact and lineage analysis” for universes not created using BODS? Im hoping that this product will be able to show me “impact and lineage analysis” for universes directly on top of operational systems too.

Q2. I can see looking at the BODS repository that “AL_CMS_REPORTS” has the reports in it. Yet when I search for a report using the “impact and analysis” nothing is returned. I feel like I have missed a step. After the cmsCollection runs, are there more steps?

yes, as long as the universe is collected successfully you will be able to see the Impact and Lineage, it doesn’t matter from where you created the Universe

from your previous post, I think your universe collection is failing, most like that could be the reason
