located in Application > Web Intelligence > Query script - enable editing (SQL , MDX,…)

I have some doubts about this.

I have been said it was to let user edit the SQL corresponding to their univers query but I discover also it could control also the user’s ability to create reports on Free-Hand SQL ?

It means the two rights are linked and if your users want to edit the SQL generated, they automatically be able to create queries on FH SQL ? :shock:

I think this is the way it’s always been.

I don’t remember there being separate rights. When they added the Free Hand SQL functionality to WebI, the probably just used the already existing permission to grant it rather than creating a new security right.
