Query list of users/groups

I would like to pull the following 2 reports from CMS (we are on BO 3.1 SP2). I tried to create them from the Query Builder or Activity Universe (auditing), but did not seem to work.

  1. A list of users and the user groups that each user belongs to
  2. A list of user groups and the InfoView folders that each user group
    has access to.

In BO XI R2, someone created a macro in excel to pull the users/groups, it worked perfectly. Of course, the macro doesn’t work in XI 3.1.

Any advise? Thanks a lot!

Hi,

In BOB’s Download section, there are utilities also for BO XI 3.1 version that can extract the user/group information from the CMS database.
