Can someone PLEASE tell me Why query execution time of crystal report is less than Desktop intelligence ???

Only way to test is;
Open Crystal. Database menu. Show SQL query. Check it.
Open Deski, open the data provider in question, click the SQL button. Check it.
Are the 2 queries the same?

Yes… Both the queries are same… CR takes less time to run but Deski. report takes longer time. Is this any advantage of CR over Deski. If yes, then what makes CR execute the qury faster ?

Then this is down to report formatting, what is the time difference as the main thing deski will do differently is store the data in a microcube, it does more work with the data client side than crystal does to allow OLAP analysis.
