Query as a Web Service error WQR 01206

I’m using BOXI 3.1 and just upgraded my server/client to FixPack 1.8. Whenever I try to publish a new Query as a Web Service I get the error:

“Invalid query property name used querySpecification[3]name. Please use on of the following: DuplicatedRows, MaxFetchedTime, MaxRowFetched, ResetContextOnRefresh. (WQR 01206)

To reproduce, create a new Query, select eFashion as the universe, put “Store name” in the result objects, and when you hit next this execution error appears. Anyone experience this before and know how to fix it?

FYI, my query as a web service version is 12.1.2008.1176 and it happens on my Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 machines.

Were you able to reslove this issue.I am also getting this same error message.

Nope, sorry, I was never able to resolve it. I ended up using an older install of QaaWS on our development server.

If you find a solution please post it!

I know this is a very old post but I ran into the same situation today and found a resolution. Hopefully this will help someone else if they run into this error.

Resolution:
When I open the QaaWS I click on the “Show Option Dialog Box” in the “3. Query” Section. Put a checkmark in any of the options then uncheck it and click “OK”. The error goes away and I can continue processing. I believe something became corrupted between our dev and prod environment and this resets the QaaWS for this section.
