QP0002 error: SQL generation error

I saw a few posts on this topic but did not get a complete resolution from the threads.

Here is my scenario

We importd FC reports from 6.5 to XIR2 SP1+MHF1+CHF15

The reports work fine in the DESKI tool, however we get an internal memory error QP002 SQL generation error

Has anyone successfully resolved this.

Works fine means no error while refreshing or opening in DESKI?
Then where you are getting the error, in Designer or Infoview?

Thanks for the KB article link. This gives me a lead to investigate.

The report opens and refreshes correctly in DESKI.
The error shows up in Infoview

NBG - Did you ever work out what was happening. We are getting a similar issue with users on 3 tier Deski when they don’t get it when straight Deski. (We are using 3 tier to get through firewalling from some sites).

We are BOXI R2 SP2.3 and the report is newly created in this environment.

Did any of you guys get a resoltion for this issue "Internal memory error during SQL generation. (QP00002) "

We are experiencing this in 3-tier Deski as well (xi3.1)

I have a case open with SAP, but they have not had any luck yet either.

It seems to be a very random error. Same report will work then it wont.

I too have many threads in this forum about this error,but mostly it says like
when there is not enough memory this error happens and before opening the particular report we need to close all the tabs that are running.Just give a try.

This situation was resolved for us by converting all reports with this issue to WebIntelligence.
