I have a QaaWS query I wish to perform from whoever the user is currently logged in and viewing my dashboard (the user is logged in via an Active Directory based account - my admin account for other queries is a secEnterprise account).
I have an external service that will allow me to get their username (by using their session ID in our system) - but I am unsure how to proceed.
I can’t get their password and send it to the dashboard - thats insecure, and its a hash in our database anyway, not plaintext.
is there anything I can do? Can I perform a QaaWS call with the users permissions by using the username somehow - but under the admin account?
