Publish to Sap BI does not exits

Hi All,

i have installed Lumira desktop ver 1.29 and publish to sap bi option does not exits. can you please let me know do i need to install other version to get that option?

I have installed SAPLUMIRA6429P_3-20009491.EXE

Hi

Its no longer under SHARE. Its under FILE/SAVE AS/Sap BI Platform

You will need to have installed SAP Lumira Server for BI Platform on your BO server for it to work…

Lumira Server is required when we have HANA System i believe.

Nope, Lumira server for HANA is a different thing. Youd need to have Lumira Server for BI Platform, or Lumira Server for Teams to be able to publish any Lumira visualisations. Lumira desktop on its own, your only option is export to PDF.

So you need the following:

  • An SAP BI BusinessObjects platform/server (BIP)
  • and on this platform the so called “Lumira BIP Add-on” must be installed as well

My client requirement is met with SAP Lumira Add on on BI Platform. We can view and schedule the lumira document or story from launchpad.

Using desktop we have to use save as option to save in BI platform.
