Publication Says Success, but Nothing Is Sent

We have a webi report that the client wants to have sent as a pdf via email with the data from one of the tabs in the body of the email. The only way I know how to have the data from the report in the body of the email is via a publication.

I created a publication with the webi report as my source document. There are no enterprise recipients, dynamic recipients, or personalizations so I skipped those. I chose pdf as one of the output formats with the output format details set to all reports. I chose mHTML as the other format and chose the first tab for the output format details.

I chose Email and input a valid From, To, and subject and then placed %SI_DOCUMENT_HTML_CONTENT% in the message portion of the email. I then went into the additional options and scheduled the publication. There were no prompts or events so I left those blank and everything else other than the recurrence was left default.

The publication runs when it is supposed to and has a Success status, but no emails were delivered.

I frequently schedule webi reports to be emailed as pdf attachments with the same email adresses, so I don’t think it is an email problem. I am at a loss. Am I missing something? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have the answer to this issue and will list it below just in case someone else has the same problem.

The user that schedules the publication must be subscribed to the publication. Simply right click on the publication and choose Subscribe.
