Publication fails when a report fails to refresh

Hi,

I created a publication (which has bunch of reports) that is scheduled to run daily so it refreshes all the reports and exports pdf’s and xlxs to a network drive.

Everything works fine with this approach. The only concern I have is: if a report fails to refresh…the whole publication fails meaning none of the reports are refreshed.

I am sure this is not the behavior of publications concept…can anyone confirm the same and advice me how I can get the publication to successfully refresh remaining reports if one fails. We have BO 4.1SP6.

You can’t. What you can do, I know it is not ideal, is set it to retry on failure one or more times - by scheduling it from the CMC. Actually having said that I don’t know if one report fails whether the whole publication fails. Should be easy for you to test…then let us know!
