I’m loading data to PSA BW and the same data to a template table on SQL Server. The view data shows a correct information in template table, but PSA shows strange characters. How can I fix it?

I’d say that you should check all your codepage settings…

I tried some different code pages in my Datastore, but it didn’t work.

Codepages are not only on the DS, but on multiple places:

When you write your data to a flat file, is the data then correct?

Yes Vink, when I replace the BW Target to a Flat File Target on the Job Server server and I execute the job, the flat file is created correctly.

What is the data supposed to be - to me it looks like Japanese (Kanji) that was treated as unicode somewhere along the way. I am just guessing, but I saw that same picture a lot when running local Japanese data thru processing that split the bytes and translated each.
