We have an existing BODS installation which is BODS 4.2 SP11, database is SQL Server 2012 and OS is Windows 2008R2. We have a new project where where BODS will be utilized mostly for moving master data objects to a HANA based ECC system (estimated 30 master data objects and about 150k rows).
The question is should we do a new installation of BODS on HANA database specifically for this project or can we use our existing BODS environment . What are the Pros and Cons of each approach.
Here’s the current environment:
CPU RAM OS
PROD BODS 6 core x 2.6 GHz 32 GB Win 2008 R2
DB 4 core x 2.4 GHz 32 GB Win 2008 R2
QA BODS 4 core x 2.3 GHz 30 GB Win 2008 R2
DB 4 core x 2.3 GHz 30 GB Win 2008 R2
DEV BODS 4 core x 2.3 GHz 16 GB Win 2008 R2
DB 4 core x 2.3 GHz 30 GB Win 2008 R2
Any suggestions will be much appreciated, Thanks.
