Prompt Options in XI 3.1 don't show up!!

Hi All,
Working on XI 3.1
When I try to open the Prompt Options in the query filter it don’t show up at all. It just displays the hour glass and does nothing.

I wanted to check some options for the prompts which I am not able to do.

Please help me how to do it.

I had this problem at the last company I was working at and it was because the java version was version 1.6.x and needed to be dropped back to 1.4.2 or something to that effect.

I did a search of BOB for Java 1.4.2 and got these results (link removed) so feel free to look at other threads too.

Someone else may have a better suggestion.

Thanks for your reply.

I was trying to download Java 1.4.2.
But when I go to java.sun.com website it says On October 30, 2008 J2SE 1.4.2 reached the end of its service life (EOSL). Customers interested in learning more about Sun’s Java Technology Support and EOL policy…

Did some more search and found in the archives… here is the link

Now I am able to get the prompt properties.
