Prompt is Invalid- QAAWS

Hi Everyone,

I have two QAAWS having prompt for Region. I’m using them in Xcelsius and Insert cell for both the prompt is on the same cell. (Ex:Cell A1 is the Insert cell. This is also set as Trigger cell). When I generate the flash, it’s giving me a message saying that “Prompt is invalid”. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. Why it’s giving me a message?

Any suggestions please?

This is resolved. I actually have three QaaWs.

  1. Getitng the Regions list
  2. Last Year - Prompt for Region
  3. Current Year - Prompt for Region

All the above are given in ‘Refresh on Load’ and the system picks up anyone by default. If Last year started running as first, it was actually looking for the Region information in the prompt but it’s not available as the Region gets executed after the Last year QaaWS hence the error is “Prompt is Invalid”.

I have changed the behavior of the “Refresh on load” for these QaaWS to make sure that Region gets executed first and based on the “value changes” option, I made my CY and LY to run.

This is fine now. My colleague helped me to resolve this issue. Thanks to him… I have seen few posts here where the pople facing the same issue. I hope this solution (or option) would help them.
