Prompt(Date) Issue

Hi

I have the WEBIXIR2 report. This report is showing the date prompt as two years old date (ex: 7/1/2007). Here is the definition for the prompt
@Prompt(‘Select Date’,‘D’,mono,free).
The problem is I would like to show the date in the prompt which I run it last time. How can I change this prompt.

You can use the extended prompt syntax if you use XI 3.x. Or if you create the prompt at the report level, you can check the box ‘Show last selected values’ (or something similar to that) in the properties window.

I am using the XIR2. could you please let me know extended syntax for this prompt or where can see this option "‘Show last selected values’ " could you please provide me more option

I believe the extended syntax is only for the prompts created in the universe. For extended prompt syntax, please read Dave’s blog.

This check box ‘Keep last value(s) selected’ is very next to the button where we can select values from list, constant, prompt,object(drop down) for the object in query filters pane.

This prompt is created in report level and “show last values” check box is selected. But still its showing old date

Have you by any chance saved the report without purging it?
In XIR2 even purging a report does not purge the prompt values.
We normally purge the report. Then click the refresh button and cancel the prompt window (without selecting any value in the prompt). Then save the report.
