Promotion Manager - Folder security is not kept

Using Promotion Manager, we moved the Folders, Objects, Universes and Connection first.

We then moved the User, Groups, Personal Folders using the security options below.

Promote Object Security
Promote User Security.

I am able to log into BO using the imported user’s account but when I go to public folder I don’t see their folders.

I do see they are correctly assigned to their Groups. But those groups are not added under the User Rights of the folders. Not sure where I missed the step.

Please advise.

Users & Groups need to be migrated at the same time as the secured content.

I did that and the users and groups are working find but the Groups that had the access to the Folders didn’t carry over.
What could have caused it?

Did you check off “promote security”? If so, I would check to make sure the job was successful and not “partial success”. Also, ensure that your user ID has full control over the parent of the target folder.

Do I need to check off ‘Promote Security’? I tried without security first and then with following security:

Promote Object Security
Promote User Security
