Promotion Manager - Failed to create concurrent users.

Hello,

We built a new server 4.2 sp7. I have used Promotion Manager to move Folders, Objects, Universe and Connections from old server 4.1 sp4.

My next job was to move the Users and Groups. When I tried to move the users, I got the error: Failed to create concurrent users, License Count is zero.

I manually tried to create the user but the option for Concurrent User was grayed out. In our old server 4.1 sp4, the Concurrent users are active and Named users is grayed out.

This can only be addressed by getting the proper license, correct? I wanted to clarify this before I go ask for it.

Also when promoting users/groups, do I suppose to move the user Administrator and Group Administrators.

Thank you. We ended up adding the license in existing BO for ‘Names Users’ and manually updated the users to ‘Named Users’. Then used the promotion manager to move the users and groups from BO 4.1 to 4.2.
