When I use Report Conversion Tool on a client (not on Webi Server) I have an error (a red cross appears) before the conversion.
I believe that RCT can not open the document to migrate
I have the same problem. Only a red cross apears.
I start the report conversion tool on a windows-client.
the cms is on a aix-server.

The client connects to the webi server to access the Report Conversion tool. (it’s necessary to enter a login and the password ; I tried with Administrator Login (which is the login of the administrator of Business Objects) but I have the same problem
However when I connect to RCT directly on the the webi server all it’s Ok
The problem is when using RCT on a client (I have a client Windows XP)
Now it works!!!
the solution is to install the new version BO, ie version XI 3.1 (on both the server and client)
