Problem completing BO 6.5 Installation

Hello All,

I have a machine which has BO XI installed on it and then we had to install BO 6.5 recently for some other purpose, to complete BO 6.5 Installation we have to edit a report but when doing that it is by default opening it in BO XI
Is there any work around to open BO 6.5 instead ?

Hi,

Are you opening a DeskI report in DeskI by double-clicking the report’s icon?

Can you just simply start DeskI and then use menu File -> Open … and open the .rep file that you need?

Thanks for the replr,

The problem is that i am not able to open Deski 6.5 at all, we are using ZABO so the first time after instalation of BO 6.5 we have to edit a document from infoview to allow the application to set the configurations after which i will be able to login , but this is opening Deski XI :frowning:

Please do comeback if am not clear

Ah, I see, you use ZABO and not normal DeskI.

Hmmm, in that case, I am not sure if I can help, I have not worked with both versions of ZABO on one machine. I am not sure if it’s even possible.

The only option i got now is to uninstall BO XI and then finish BO 6.5 installation and then install BO XI back.

Will give it a try
