my collegue exported an universe from a different CMS, and now everytime we try to open it in the Designer it shows the following : ‘You are not authorized to use this document (FRM0008) (well indeed the message could be a little different I’ve got an italian version of BO… anyway I suppose the error number is the same…).
A week ago I had the same problem and I suceeded in exporting the universe… but now I can’t remember what I did to go through this problem.
Could anybody give me an advice? Pleeease, my heart is crying and my boss is sharpening a knife… :’-(

Before exporting, change the universe to use a shared or personal connection (it doesn’t actually have to point at a real db). Then “Save As”, and check off “Save for All Users”.
Or use the Import Wizard to migrate it from one CMS to another.
Thank u very much but, unfortunately, at the present I have no access to the original CMS. I just have the file exported. Is there something I can do?
