I am very curious to know one thing about PRM file.

let say I have to modified parameter ANSI92 to Yes from No.To achive this I can go to File-Prarameter-Paramaeter tab
and add paramater as ANSI92 and values as Yes. We can define and set value of all paramter in universe itself.
Then what is use of PRM file to store paramater name and it values.(Yes)

I know PRM file have another use also like to store database specific function.But my question is if we can set parameterin universe itself then why need again mentione it again prm file?.

Where there is a conflict between a parameters value in the PRM file & the Universe then the Universe value takes precedence since it has been specifically set
In cases like your example the PRM file is used to set Default values that are used when new universes are created
