When I save a webi report as PDF and want to print it, I am having some issues.
The report has a good number of columns but when I change the orientation of the page to landscape and 8.5x14 (in pdf print screen), the columns do not stretch to cover entire size of the legal paper. It stays in portrait and 8.5x11.
The default settings in webi are landscape and letter.
change the settings in the page setup in webi to what you want them to be. those will determine the page size in the pdf or printout. you can use the fit to 1 page wide option in here and leave the fit to pages tall option blank.
WEBI export options are pretty shocking to be fair. Fit to page(s) generally works best, but I often find I need to move tables/charts around to get it to look reasonable and then, generally speaking the report is only good for export - ie it doesn’t render well from Launchpad.
That’s what seems to be the general lesson here. It is really bad exporting to PDF. I have recommended printing from Excel at the moment although you lose header and footer.
I’m sure it is just a setting that needs to be found and set.
