Hello,

I have used matching wizard for my data and got correct master and slave records…However I need help on the following

I got the data like this

Cust id, Name, Group number,Group rank
1, ABC, 1,M
2, ABC,1,S
3, ABC,1,S
This is sample for one record. Now I want Cust ID for 2&3(slave records) to be replaced with 1 (that of Master Cust ID). This is to be done for all slave records based on Master Cust ID.
Can someone help me on how I can achieve this.

You can use the post match option > best record

or simply query off your master records, and join them back on group number to post mast to subs.

Thank you for responding…

I tried to use Post match --> Best_Record, however I am not able to view cust_id column in the drop down list

I have used Name,address columns for matching criteria…hence able to view only those columns in post matching drop down list…

please advice.
