positioning context in BO Universe ( Oracle partition!! )

I have a problem to point loading data into a universe over a period of data in Oracle tables as source, knowing that uses a key (PARTITION_KEY) to point to a screeching halt (Period) by using the function :

exec pack_context.contextid_open(391);

This means a positioning context in Oracle Database in September 30, 2014

Can I have do that in Business Objects Universe?? and How?

Have a look at the connectinit parameter.
You may be able to do something there.

Usually when I have worked with partitioned databases, I have just used prompts to navigate to the relevant parttion.
