Port issue

HI Friends,

Here is the issue.

We have BO Designer installed on the local Machine. When login to the designer, it is trying to communicate to 6400. We do not remember configuring anywhere while installing/ configuring BO on 6400 port. I think the port is 9090. Is there a way to make it communicate with 9090 port?

Can somebody help me figure out the best way to find the Business Objects server port. So that we can use our Designer on our local machine.

A complete solution would be appreciated.

Just a note:
Sounds like a default install, the CMS is operating on port 6400 by default.

If you are using XI r2 you can change the port in CCM but is you are in XI 3.0/3.1 you can change that via the servers properties in CMS.
