pointing webi report to different universe

Hi All,

when we try to link the webi report to other universe some of the variable are getting deleted from the report. Variable which are getting are those which are created using a other object from the report. its giving below error …

“Utilization and Time Entry Analysis Report by HR Hierarchy(Prod)”, error stream:

we are using BI 4.1 service pack with patch 1.

does any one else facing the same issue. is it product issue?

Yes.
Supposed to be fixed in 4.1 SP3

that happens when you have a variable with the same name as an object from the data provider. just change the name of the variable first then point
