Pie & Radar Charts: Measure Labels Disappear in Excel ex

When exporting Pie or Radar charts to Excel from WebI (XIR2 SP4 FP 4.5), the name of the measure disappears. So we end up with a chart that doesn’t tell the reader what values are being displayed

This doesn’t happen when the charts are exported as PDF.

Anyone else experience this? And is there a solution?

I was having the same, but couldn’t find any way. I think it is a bug.

Try suinga freestanding cell as a workaround instead…

That will change the look and feel of the original report.

Well, thats a very obvious statement… :wink:

You have to decide whether the look and feel of the report is more important, than seeing the axis values - simple as that…:).

Business Objects has told us that it is a “known bug” that is still evident in XIR3.2.

Supposedly, they have raised a ticket to address the issue.
