Embedded Analytics - Kevin McManus, Launchworks

Its 2014 and your data lives in multiple places (cloud, on premise, 3rd Party) and multiple applications need the same abilities to
Report on these multiple sources. The result: disparate reporting processes and repeated movement of data. Its time you know and see how Embedded Analytics can provide a reduction in costs and benefits to users and IT.

The key to Consuming, Using and Interacting with Enterprise Data is to have the data available where the user is working …which means preferably embedded within the application. Users working in Cloud applications like SDFC should not have to switch to an on premise application to consume reports on related data. Once embedded it must have the appropriate features for interaction and collaboration needed for effective decision making.

Demonstration that Using the techniques of Embedded Analytics will
a) simplify the maintenance and of data repositories
b) lessen the needs to manage multiple reporting platforms
c) improve the usability of the tools by providing a Common Reporting Interface across multiple applications
